What to Expect
We know that going somewhere new can be intimidating...so we want to help calm any nerves that you or your child may have before the first appointment! Here is what you can expect for your child's evaluation at Bluegrass Pediatric Therapies (BPT)!​​
First, check in with the front desk staff!
Arrive at BPT at least 15 minutes in advance from the start time of your child's evaluation, then head to the front desk area and let our staff know you are here. Here's what you'll need to have handy to check in:

Insurance Card

Driver's License
Then, they'll run off to make copies of the cards and our clinic manager will bring them back out to you!​ So go ahead and take a seat!
Next, you'll meet the clinic manager!
Once the front desk staff has made copies of your insurance card and your driver's license, the clinical manager will come out to meet with you! They will go over two things with you: any intake paperwork that still needs to be completed and a folder containing lots of handouts about our clinic, additional services we provide, milestones, and more!
Then, the child's therapist will come out to get you!
Didn't get to finish your paperwork? No problem, you can finish it after the evaluation! Just make sure you turn all the documents in before you leave the clinic.
