Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy helps individuals participate in the things they need AND want to do throug the therapeutic use of everyday activities. These activities are what we identify as occupations.

Our Occupational Therapists work with the pediatric population through utilizing the main occupation of children of all ages (play!) to help them learn new skills, interact with their environment, and progress towards their goals.

Occupational therapists targets activities of daily living including: dressing, feeding, hygiene, grooming, cooking, shopping, and household chores. OTs can also help children build their strength and improve their coordination. Additionally, our OTs help teach children how to interact and play with their peers, as well as help those who have difficulty processing and regulating sensory information from their environment.
