Frequently Asked Questions
You can contact your child's pediatrician to fax over a referral! The fax number for our Richmond location is (859)353-5601 and the number for our Winchester location is (859)385-4573! Please note, however, that it is possible that if your child has not had a well-child visit recently, their pediatrician may require an appointment before sending a referral. Once we get the referral, our referral coordinator will call you to schedule an evaluation!
If you are self-pay or if you have commercial insurance, you do not need a referral to schedule an evaluation. However, Medicaid insurances require a referral!
Yes! We offer free speech, occupational, and physical therapy screening all year around. You do not have to be a current patient to receive a free screening! Call our clinic to schedule a screening today!
If your child is already receiving services with us, and you would like to see if there are concerns in another discipline, we can schedule a screening during your child's regularly scheduled appointment! Or you can go ahead and call your pediatrician and ask for a referral for another service! Since your child is already receiving services, many pediatricians won't require you to come in for a visit to obtain an additional service. However, if they do, we can complete a screening and provide you with the paperwork to bring to that visit.
Yes, your child is still able to receive services with us! We warn you when your child's referral is expiring 60 days prior to the date of expiration and we will notify you again 30 days prior to the date of expiration. This should give you time to either call your pediatrician and have them fax over a new referral OR to schedule a well-child visit to obtain an updated referral before their referral expires. Our billing office will contact you to let you know when your referral is too far expired and your child is no longer able to receive services until a new referral is obtained.
