Physical Therapy

Pediatric physical therapy is a series of interventions and exercises delivered by a skilled professional with a doctoral educational background. A Physical Therapist can help your child with any gross motor challenges they may be facing, including: balance, coordination, upper body strength, lower body strength, core strength, poor muscle tone, posture, pain that decreases mobility, speed/agility, and motor planning. PTs can also help your child meet their “milestones”, which include skills such as crawling, walking, jumping, skipping, hopping, stair skills, running skills, etc.

Our youngest, wasn’t able to sit up on his own, couldn’t feed himself, and wasn’t crawling when he started his therapies. With the help of Ms. Becca and her techniques/recommendations for us to try at home, our child excelled quickly and continues to do. Our biggest goals for him at the moment are standing independently and walking, which I’m sure is coming any day now! He’s gained so much confidence and self-assurance in his therapies and loves going.
